Chicago City Clerk Susana A.Mendoza to Bring Culinary Kids Program to The Indo-American Center

WHO: Chicago City Clerk Susana A. Mendoza

WHAT: Chicago City Clerk Susana A. Mendoza in collaboration with Palmer House Executive Chef Stephen Henry, cookbook author and journalist Anupy Singla, Testa Produce Chef Courtney Barton, 50th Ward Alderman Debra Silverstein, Chicago Red Star forwards Jen Hoy and Cara Walls will join the Indo-American Center for a special Culinary Kids event.

Students from the Indo-American Center will cook South Asian cuisine under the instruction of Chef Henry, Chef Barton, Anupy Singla and Clerk Mendoza. Jen Hoy and Cara Walls will be helping out in the kitchen and speaking to the students on the importance of a healthy diet and physical fitness. The event will be officiated by WGN Morning News co-anchor Lourdes Duarte.
