Congratulations, Wilma!
Please put your paws together for Chicago's first-ever Dog of Distinction.
2012 is the inaugural year of the Clerk's "Dog of Distinction" campaign. This program aims to:
- Promote Chicago as a great dog-friendly city.
- Celebrate Chicago’s awesome citizen canines.
- Raise awareness about the importance of getting dogs registered in Chicago.

How it Works
All dogs registered with the Clerk’s Office since May 16, 2011, were automatically entered into the program. From that group, the Clerk’s office in April 2012 randomly selected five dogs as Dog of Distinction finalists. Chicago’s winning Dog of Distinction and all finalists will receive great prizes.
Special thanks to Chicago Civic Leader Kathy Posner for her creativity in developing the Dog of Distinction campaign!
